August 18, 2008 - MEGADETH "ANTHOLOGY: SET THE WORLD AFIRE" DUE SEPTEMBER 30
Following the successful 2007 release of the coveted 4-CD+DVD "Warchest" box set, Megadeth is back with a vengeance with "Anthology: Set The World Afire". The career-spanning 2-CD and digital collection, to be released September 30 by Capitol/EMI. Dave Mustaine: "I'm really excited about this new release because after the Warchest coming out, the Arsenal Of Megadeth, and the Greatest Hits package, I was concerned that we wouldn't have a package that would be able to stand up against the other three and this is a really great offering of some of our more popular songs. The artwork was a real strip down version of an album cover back like it was before we had 30-page booklets and CD's, so it's very simple artwork on the package and it's just straight forward Megadeth music." August 13, 2008 - DAVE MUSTAINE: "IN THE MIDDLE OF SOME INTENSE HOUSE-CLEANING"
Dave Mustaine has posted the following update on the Megadeth Forums: "Lasty, I am in the middle of some intense house-cleaning at the studio and there will be tons of stuff that will be sorted before we start the next record. So, that means loads of kewl stuff for EBay. There is also going to be a lot of the "much needed" fixes that our beloved webmaster has been asking about, but I was just not aware of how important it was; stuff like the Official sites, forums, and the desperately overdue fanclub issues matters very much to me. I hope you dig what we do to improve things around here with the help and input from our webmasters, our SLs, and YOU!" MORE
