Dave Mustaine has issued the following update: "I want to inform you that it is indeed true, we are postponing our Canadian Carnage Tour, due to our tour mates in Slayer needing some time off for front man Tom Araya to address some personal matters with his health. We send our best wishes to Tom and look forward to his speedy recovery. Meanwhile, we will be rescheduling these dates in the near future, although that date is currently unknown, and contingent upon Slayer’s notifying us of Tom’s progress.
